    Camera

    Remotely control the tablet's built-in camera over a direct peer-to-peer WebRTC connection.

    Camera access requires the tablet to be reached over HTTPS (or literally "localhost"). If your tablet opens this app over plain HTTP on your local network, the tablet's browser will block camera access and this won't connect.

    Location & Weather

    Setting a city here does two things: it can show current weather on the tablet, and it's what "Auto" dark mode above uses to switch at real sunrise/sunset instead of a fixed time — even if you leave weather itself turned off below.

    Weather and sunrise/sunset come from Open-Meteo (no account or API key needed). Updates roughly every 30 minutes.

    Tablet Display Token

    On the tablet, open this app's /display/ page and enter this token once to link it. Keep it private — anyone with it can view (not edit) your calendar.

    Open the tablet's browser camera/scanner on this code — it opens /display/ already linked, no typing. Anyone who scans it gets view access, so hide it when done.

    Regenerating immediately disconnects any tablet using the old token, until you re-enter the new one there.
